Course: Introduction to Positive Psychology
Aim: The sector of Positive Psychology is one of the youngest and ever-growing sector of the science of Psychology. Positive Psychology focuses on the study, nature, development and role of emotions, knowledge and behaviors associated with increased life satisfaction and functional relationship with the social environment. The aim of the course is to introduce students to the basic theories, models and concepts of Positive Psychology and to present the relevant research results and knowledge in this field.

Course: Applications of Positive Psychology
Aim: The subject of this course is familiar with the basic principles, methods, and Positive Psychology interventions and programs’ effectiveness. It focuses on the latest findings of relevant research, interventions and programs in the field and the community. The teaching aims to deepen and fully understand the concepts associated with Positive Psychology as well as to evaluate the results of the practical applications of methods. Through experiential exercises it seeks to contribute to the development of students' creative and critical thinking. Applied research programs and activities that have been developed since today, as well as their main findings are presented. Emphasis is focused on techniques for enhancing positive emotions, positive relationships and character strengths.

Indicative topics: The theoretical concepts of Resilience, Self-compassion, Gratitude, Enjoyment and Mindfulness are analyzed. The field of positive interventions includes sub-areas such as physical and mental health, family life, community, work, and psychotherapy. A special section is dedicated to the institution of education and the implementation of relevant programs at various levels.

Aim: The aim of the course is to define the scientific field of Positive Psychology based on its historical background, its evaluation and the important concepts it deals with, but also to present latest research data related to the results and applications of Positive Psychology in general and specific populations.

Course: Seminar II: Experiential Laboratory of Applying Positive Psychology
Aim: Researchers and community representatives, with contribution to the community, present selected interventions and applications, in various interpersonal and community fields of positive psychology. The interventions’ presentation includes a detailed report on the goals, methods, results and evaluation of the applied positive psychology programs in the field, as well as experiential exercises in which the students will actively participate. The aim is to consolidate the theoretical principles and research methodologies of positive psychology in practice, through critical reflection and personal experiential participation of students. At the end of the course, students are expected to be familiar with a variety of different applications of positive psychology in a wide range of fields in community and organizations, while at the same time they will have developed a number of positive psychology skills and techniques that they can apply in practice. The course is expected to contribute to the development of the ability to design, implement and evaluate interventions in the field, both in the context of educating students in Positive Psychology applications in the field and community, and in the context of research thesis.

Diploma in Positive Psychology from HAPPSY.
The diploma in Positive Psychology is divided into two cycles -A and B- and is held in Athens and Thessaloniki. The aim of the educator is to introduce the participants to the basic principles and methodologies of positive psychology both at a theoretical and experiential level. Combined with an in-depth emphasis at basic theories and concepts of positive psychology, participants will be asked to apply themselves the Positive Psychology practices and, with appropriate guidance, find ways to use them in their professional and personal lives. Upon program’s completion, participants will have developed the necessary skills to constructively use positive emotions and positive experiences, and to recognize and develop the potential of themselves and those around them. In cycle B, the purpose is to deepen in modules taught in the first cycle, to focus on the practical application of specific concepts but also to get acquainted with new fields of Positive Psychology.
Diploma in Positive Integrative Coaching from HAPPSY in collaboration with UGrow- Coaching Services.
The aim of this diploma is to offer an extended and effective approach to Coaching education, combining the principles of Positive Psychology and Coaching. Participants are trained in theoretical models, interventions and techniques and gain experience through many hours of practice during and out of the program, so that after the training they feel sufficient to practice and integrate new knowledge into their existing professional identity. Teaching, reflection, practical methods, experiential exercises and practice are the main features within the classroom. The principles of Positive Psychology are creatively linked to the principles and models of professional coaching, Neurolinguistic Programming and Positive Organizational Culture, in three main pillars (The Coaching Essentials, Understanding Well-being in personal and professional context, Practicing Coaching Intervention). Workshop "Your values: How to use them every day to create a more meaningful life" with Dr. Marilyn Fitzpatrick as coordinator (McGill University, Department of Counseling Psychology).
This is a workshop about values and their role in creating a life of which you are proud. It is organized around your personal explorations of ways to live in harmony with your values. Sessions will help you to identify your key values, envision the impact they can have on your life, and use those values to create that impact. Each session will give you opportunities to answer important personal questions, to understand current research and theory that relates to those questions, and to try out strategies to implement what you are learning. By the end of the workshop, you will have important insights and strategies for using values to improve wellness, to develop a personal legacy and to make a difference to others.
