POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS 2020-22

Marina Kakosaiou is a 24-year old psychologist and she works in army. She graduated from the Department of Psychology at the Department of Philosophy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Now, she attends her first postgraduate program in positive psychology at Panteion University. What motivated her to start this particular master's degree is the interest in learning the strengths of people and not their weaknesses, but also understanding and achieving their best functionality.


   

Aggeliki Panagiotou graduated from the Department of Psychology of Panteion University. Her dissertation was based on "Meaning of life in criminal prisoners", while also completing the internship at Dromokaitio hospital.

She continued her studies in the Postgraduate Program "Psychology", specializing in Positive Psychology, with the ultimate goal of utilizing positive psychology interventions in reintegration programs.


   

Papadimitriou Anna is a Psychologist-Psychotherapist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She studied Psychology at Panteion University and holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Psychology from the University of East London.

She is a member of the Project Hero Next Door team. She has attended training in clinical psychopathology, counseling skills, staffing of human organizations and training of adult educators and has participated in research programs on a voluntary basis. She has a private practice in Psychology and works in private education.

   

Sini Maria studied Psychology at the Department of Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her dissertation based on the optimism and well-being of adults and she soon realized that her research interests were related to Positive Psychology variables. 

So, she chose to study in the Postgraduate Program "Psychology" with a specialization in Positive Psychology. She is a member of the Project Hero Next Door team.  In the context of internship, she collaborates with Paidolalia, a center for special therapies, while her thesis concerns the study of Self-Compassion and Body Image in Adolescents.

   

Dimitra Skourti was born in Athens in 1994. She studied Psychology at the Department of Psychology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a postgraduate degree in human resource management from the Athens University of Economics and Business.

She has worked in human resources departments of large Greek and multinational companies. She is a champion in Canoe-Kayak.

   

Dimitra Tagara is a psychologist, she has graduated from the Department of Psychology of Panteion University. She is attending the Postgraduate Program "Psychology" specializing in Positive Psychology offered by Panteion University, while she is a trainee at the Hellenic Society of Existential Psychology "Gignesthai" where she studies in the 4-year program of psychotherapeutic approach.

She works as a psychologist in the Society of Social Psychiatry and Mental Health P. Sakellaropoulos, in a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Unit in Attica, while at the same time she is at the IASIS Day Center taking part in various psychoeducational activities as part of her internship.

   
Charitonidou Lousi studied Psychology at the Department of Psychology of Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. Her interest in Positive Psychology started in the undergraduate period and culminated in her dissertation, where she studied the correlation between self-efficacy and resilience in adults. The next step was to study in the Postgraduate Program "Psychology", specializing in Positive Psychology. She is a member of the project team "Hero Next Door". She has completed her internship at the "Attikon" hospital in the context of the undergraduate studies and in the context of the MSc internship in Applications in the Field and in the Community, she collaborates with a Center of Psychosocial Rehabilitation of EPAPSI.
   

 

Thanos Tapinos was born in Patras in 1990. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education at the University of Patras in 2014 and continued his studies in Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from where he graduated in 2019.

He completed his postgraduate studies at the Democritus University of Thrace in the master 'ICT and Special Education - Psychopedagogy of Integration' in 2018, and then he proceeded to a second postgraduate degree at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in School Counselling and Guidance, from where he graduated in 2021. In addition, he completed his clinical practice (Postgraduate seminar in Clinical Psychopathology and Postgraduate Seminar in Clinical Skills in Psychopathology) at the First Psychiatric Clinic of  the University of Athens.
